Update to the L4D-L4D2 conversion

OK, so it's been awhile since we gave you a good update report. It's been tough to keep track of everything with such a small team. So few discussions have taken place, and some ideas have been tossed around. These are some things we do need;
A few more link mirrors, possibly even a dedicated host for downloads as the main site has gotten a lot of traffic.
More server owners to host the maps.
Two or three beta testing teams. That way, these beta test can produce more but finds, producing faster releases. Add me to steam if you have a team you can form.
We can use a public relations person. One that can handle typing up brief explanations of updates, work in progress, and maybe even work up a basic frequently asked questions article.
There's lots more we can use, but little time to explain. So, if you have something you can contribute or think will benefit this conversion, at me to steam or send me an im on l4d mods.com.

We have also currently taken on a team amount of, to assist me in getting the vs. Maps out there, he goes by the name hungry hungry hippos. We are currently testing no mercy vs. Version one and have released a dead air version two vs. I apologize for being version two already, but much testing was done this. As far as the Co OP maps go, no mercy will be completely finalized on the next update, and I will bounce back between original and modified versions, but it shouldn't take too long to complete these. Death toll is really the only one that has any issues that will take or may take an extra Mana time to iron out. Rest assured, you will get them to you, as we enjoy playing them as much as you do.
On behalf of the entire team, I'd like to personally thank every one of you that has taken interest or have downloaded these maps. It's been a great ride so far, and I look for to completion, basically giving us a complete conversion. Other goodies are in the works, but I won't spoil that. I'll save those until they are ready.

  2. Great job guys. But I'm wondering about one thing. Yesterday I got into a server where it was looping ONLY this L4D1 maps you made, means after DEATH TOLL final we get DEAD AIR, and so on... and this server had apparently all the map bugs solved? I mean, I tried to play this maps on campaign mode by myself and many of the times I can run through objects, such as the inital table at DEAD AIR 1, all the guns are on the ground instead of on top of the table, and I can run through the table as if it wasn't there, the same goes for most of all objects. On Dead Air 2, I can't get through the level, because the cresccendo, where this metal box thing comes down with the ladder, we all get through it after going up the ladder and then fall off the building and die. Also the Blood Harvest bridge now didn't break, so I couldn't finish the level.
    But the thing is... yesterday in this server ALL of this things didn't happen, it was all just working fine, and I even saw "Heartless", I believe the owner of this blog, on Crash Course for a couple of minutes, now why is that? Why did it all work in this server, and how do I join it again? :)

  3. I had the same bugs when I played them (falling through stuff and dying.) I really enjoyed these maps until they killed me or kept me from finishing. The modified version are great blend of new features to. I'd ne happy to download and play, even help, test, debug any of these maps.
